Increasing latex harvest before the holiday season
Being close to the Lunar New Year is also the time when the rubber holiday season is coming. VRG has issued a document asking companies to increase latex harvest before the holiday season, and at the same time organize to exploit and make use of output right from the beginning of the first month.
The latex yield before the holiday season should be maximized and the garden for each block should be reviewed according to Article 123 of the 2012 Rubber Tree Technical Process. In addition, companies need to take management measures, reward and motivate workers in the holidays, the government in conjunction with the union needs to have a labor agreement with workers to organize the harvesting of rubber latex during the Lunar New Year holidays (From 30 December to 3 January Lunar calendar). In addition, it is in need to have the statistics of area, the number of shaving workers, the specific shaving date and then develop plans to organize the management of latex collection in units during Tet holidays. Also, they need to develop adequate salary, bonus and allowance regimes to ensure workers' rights.
Until 17 January, VRG exploited 18.019 tons of latex, reaching 5.63% of the total production plan of 320.250 tons in 2019, averaging nearly 1.000 tons / day on the whole area of VRG. Now, there are still scattered rains throughout the area.
